About Chidlows
Our Painting and Decorating Company was established in 1964 by George Chidlow. Our company has now been operating for over 45 years; very efficiently and very competitively throughout Merseyside, the North West of England and the North Wales areas. During this time we have traded very successfully with numerous clients, who continue to return to our company to receive the excellent personal service that they have come to expect from our company over the past five decades.
Nowadays, our company is run by Bill and Derek Chidlow. Both directors have been in the business since the mid 1970's and have gained vast experience and are totally proficient in all aspects and sectors of the Painting and Decorating Industry. We are always keen to improve and learn new skills as well as undertake any new training that we feel is necessary within our industry.
Bill is the Managing Director of the company and is a fully qualified Painter and Decorator with all of the relevant qualifications in Painting and Decorating as well as also attaining various qualifications in Business Management. As the MD he is also qualified to act as the company Health and Safety Officer. He is qualified with a NEBOSH General Certificate, as well as having undertaken many other Health and Safety Management Training Courses, such as COSHH Assessment, Risk Assessment, Manual Handling, Site Safety for Managers Qualifications and all gained either through Construction Skills or other various assessment bodies.
Derek acts as Contracts Director of the company and is again a fully qualified Painter and Decorator with many years relevant experience. He is constantly involved in the day to day smooth running of our various contracts, from initial arrival on site, up until final completion and final handover to the client. He has all the necessary Painting and Decorating Trade training as well as being competent in Site Health and Safety.
We feel that we are well qualified to act in confidence in continually running this business in a very competitive commercial market. Our company continually undergoes a Personal Training Programme with all of our long term core employee’s trained in Health and Safety Awareness, Full First Aider Training, First Aid (Appointed Persons) Training, Mechanically Elevated Platform Training (IPAF Certified), Aluminium Mobile Tower Training (PASMA Certified), Manual Handling, CSCS Trained and any other necessary training courses, ensuring our company is totally proficient in all of these areas.
We ensure that all of our employees are polite, considerate and very helpful when dealing with our many various customers and clients.
