KETONE SOLVENT
Organic solvent containing the CO grouping.
Ketone solvents have relatively strong solubility parameters and exhibit
strong hydrogen bonding and high polarity. Ketones used in paints include
acetone (dimethyl ketone), methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), and methyl isobutyl
ketone (MIBK).
